ESPANA!!! My wonderful trip to Barcelona :)

Yes i know it has taken me forever to actually post some pictures of my trip, or even tell anyone about it. The truth is i have about 1,268 pictures from Spain but I'm not so sure they'll all make it on the blog. So only the highlights will be posted for now.
1.The Mediterranean Sea. One of my favorite places to go. The water was so pretty at sunset so we decided to take a lot of pictures. I also loved all the boats and looking down into the turquoise water. :)
2. Las Ramblas. Another one of my favorite things about Spain. All it is really is a long street with lots of souvenir shops for all of the tourists. We had so much fun walking up and down the streets.
3. La Sagrada Familia. It is a church designed by the famous architect Goudi. It is very interesting and also very artistic. It looks kinda creepy just because of all the little details he adds.

4. Park Guell. This park was also designed by Goudi. I love all the mosaic tiles... this particular picture shows a lizard made entirely of mosaics. It was very cool!

5. The Barca stadium. Where the Barcelona soccer team plays soccer. We saw the locker rooms and the conference room. We also got to sit in the stands and sing the Barca cheer... even though it was in Catalan.

Well that basically wraps up my trip. I had a blast and if anyone would like to see any more pictures would be happy to show them to you anytime.

Christmas 2009

The Chicago Cannons had a great low key Christmas at home. The day was filled with laughter and excitement. Here are some pictures of the event. We all got new pajamas on Christmas Eve and the twins got their own photo shoot.

Ladder climbing

Lenny and Josh LOVE Stanley's ladder for his loft bed. They love to climb it and think it's just awesome. Lenny is more courageous and Josh is a scaredy cat.
One day when my mom was picking up in a different room and she hears Josh wailing. She comes running and Lenny and Josh were climbing up the ladder but Lenny was on Josh's foot. Lenny was trying to figure out how to get on the bed and Josh was trying to figure out how to get down. My mom helped Lenny and Josh up the bed Lenny was pleased, Josh was freaked! But he does it anyway.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

Happy Thanksgiving!! One of my favorite times of the year except for this year. All of our Thanksgiving plans fell through when Aunt Charlotte got sick. The next day Stanley had an upset stomach and as we were leaving Target, he threw up outside the elevator door. Then while watching the biggest loser Dita threw up, and when I got back from watching New Moon I felt sick and then threw up. So on Thanksgiving we all sat around and slept while our parents attempted to make a nice Thanksgiving dinner. After we ate we watched UP and Annie. Overall Thanksgiving for the Cannon family was okay...

Twins a year already!

We were looking at pictures from when the twins were newborns in the hospital and how small and cute they were. We have noticed a big difference in the way they look now compared to last year.

Lenny is climbing up and down the stairs and enjoys walking around with someone holding on to her hands. For her birthday she got a stuffed monkey, and whenever she goes to bed she always has to have it, she likes cuddling with it. She also throws big tantrums whenever she doesn't get her way!

Josh is a big teddy bear. His hair looks looks like Fabio, long and gorgeous. My mom refuses to cut it although it covers his eyes, and he has longer hair than Lenny (she has gotten a couple of trims). He loves to be held and does not really enjoy walking around. Whenever your working on something he will collapse and tackle you. Its very amusing and painful.

Go Carts

A couple of weeks ago, we had the day off from school, I needed to work on my science project. My dad has an shop down in Indiana, where they sort wood and all that good stuff. Anyways, he took me, Dita, Stanley and a couple of neighborhood kids, Pete H. Isaac N. and Noah and Ruth E. The drive was 2.5 hrs long and when we got there we had to work on the science project, but i wont go into detail about that. After (and the real reason everyone came) was to ride the Go Carts, that belong to someone my dad works with. We rode on muddy and slippery ground. There was an abandond railroad track that we used to ride them on. We had an awesome time!
